MONITOR YOUR NETWORK IN VIDICENTER
If you have several computers running VidiReports, you need to be able to monitor that they collect data correctly. We will see how you can monitor your network in VidiCenter, and identify the alerts to efficiently correct them and keep a well-performing network.
The key idea to remember here is that the monitoring is done at the location level. A location is on alert, not a box, not a site. If VidiReports is not running on a box, the box will not send any data to VidiCenter, and the location associated to it will have no data. The location will raise an alert saying “Upload period”, meaning that there hasn’t been any upload received.
